Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, 7 January 2026: Geely Auto UK has opened reservations for its next vehicle to arrive on forecourts, the Starray EM-i Super Hybrid PHEV SUV. Following the brand and first model launch at the end of last year, Geely Auto has announced sales for the Starray EM-i will commence in February with prices starting from £29,990 OTR.
The Starray EM-i is a born Super Hybrid. Rather than converting an existing model by integrating a new powertrain, the Starray EM-i was designed and engineered from the ground up as a PHEV to help ensure optimum efficiency and strong driving performance.
Geely Auto UK will be offering the Starray EM-i in three trim levels – Pro, Max and Ultra. All models feature comprehensive passive and active safety systems, earning the Starray EM-i the maximum five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
To support low running costs for private and fleet owners, service intervals are set at 12 months / 10,000 miles. In the UK, the Starray EM-i will carry a comprehensive base warranty of eight years or 125,000 miles.
Comprehensively equipped model line-up
The entry-level Starray EM-i Pro is priced at £29,990 OTR and comes with a number of standard advanced technology and equipment. Highlights include heated electrically adjustable front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and keyless entry.
Stepping up to the £32,690 Max model brings numerous additional benefits. These include heads-up display and wireless phone charging. At the top of the range, the Ultra, priced at £34,990 OTR adds a larger battery and increased charging capability.
As a part of a major global vehicle manufacturing group, Geely Auto UK is also focussed on ensuring access to high quality charging services. The Andersen A3 home charger offer and our relationship with Octopus Energy aims to make charging availability and tariffs straightforward and cost-effective.
Michael Yang, General Manager, Geely Auto UK, said: “When we launched our brand in the UK, we committed to offering technologically focused, safe and intelligent mobility that is genuinely tailored to the needs of British drivers. With the opening of reservations for the Starray EM-i, we are delivering on that promise once again. To ensure this vehicle truly excels on UK roads, we have worked closely with the experts at Lotus Engineering to refine its chassis and dynamics, resulting in a driving experience that is ideally suited to this market.
“We have been equally deliberate with our pricing and specification. By offering three highly specified, carefully chosen trim levels – Pro, Max, and Ultra – we are providing customers with a transparent and effortless purchasing experience. Whether it is the WLTP electric-only range of up to 84 miles* or the premium technology fitted as standard across the range, the new Starray EM-i provides a stand-out, attainable proposition for those ready to embrace the benefits of a state-of-the-art super hybrid.”
Notes:
