Geely EX2: China’s Best-Selling Car Set to Arrive in the UK
- Pure-electric compact city car expected in showrooms from late-August

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, 01 July 2026 Geely Auto UK has today confirmed its next model to launch in the UK will be the Geely EX2. Badged in homeland China as the Geely Xingyuan, the Geely EX2 will be the third Geely Auto model to come to market in the UK and is expected in showrooms from late-August.
Designed for urban mobility, the Geely EX2 combines a compact hatchback footprint with a modern exterior design and a spacious interior tailored for everyday city use. It was China’s best-selling vehicle in 2025*, achieving annual sales of over 450,000 units, with monthly peak volumes exceeding 50,000 units.
The announcement follows the February launch of the Starray EM-i Super Hybrid PHEV, as well as the electric Geely EX5 SUV which was introduced very shortly after the brand launched in October last year.

Geely Auto has ambitious plans for the UK with 10 model launches over three years and achieving a sales volume target of 100,000 units by 2030.
