Geely Auto UK Becomes Official Vehicle Partner of Coventry City Football Club

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, Friday 21 August 2026: Geely Auto UK is proud to announce a new multi-year partnership with Coventry City Football Club, becoming the Club’s official vehicle and sleeve partner.

The sponsorship further strengthens Geely Auto UK’s connection with Coventry, the Motor City that plays an important role within the wider Geely Group through its established design and engineering operations, while supporting the company’s continued growth in the UK market.

As one of English football’s most historic and passionately supported clubs, Coventry City FC provides Geely Auto UK with an exciting platform to engage with supporters, local communities and customers across the country.

The agreement will see the Geely Auto logo displayed on the sleeve of Coventry City FC’s first-team shirts, alongside a range of branding, fan engagement and community activation opportunities throughout the partnership.

The Coventry City FC partnership forms part of Geely Auto UK's wider sports marketing strategy, designed to build brand awareness and introduce more UK consumers to the company's growing range of products.

It follows Geely Auto UK's partnership with Team England and the recent appointment of Britain's most successful Olympians, Sir Jason and Dame Laura Kenny along with Olympic champion Max Whitlock and Commonwealth Games champion Emily Campbell as Geely Auto UK brand ambassadors. Through these partnerships, Geely Auto UK aims to connect with audiences through shared values of ambition, performance, teamwork and achievement while continuing to increase awareness of the Geely brand across the UK.

The partnership will officially commence ahead of the 2026/27 season, with Geely Auto UK and Coventry City FC working together on a programme of commercial, community and supporter-focused initiatives throughout the campaign.

Geely Auto arrived in the UK last October with the launch of the electric Geely EX5.  This was followed in February with the Starray EM-i, a plug-in hybrid.  A small city car, the Geely EX2 will launch later this month and the brand is following up with seven more products over the next two years.
