Geely Auto Expands into five new markets in 48-hour window

Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, 30 March 2026  Geely Auto has announced the next phase of its European expansion with the brand’s rollout into Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain and Germany – all completed within a 48-hour window over 25-26 March. Together with its established presence in Hungary, the UK and Italy, Geely Auto now covers key Central and Western European regions.

All five markets are now commercially operational, and in alignment with the UK market, Geely Auto customers can currently choose from either the Geely E5, badged as the Geely EX5 in the UK, or the Starray EM‑i Super Hybrid. Both models are engineered to deliver practical, real‑world performance and advanced technology, reflecting the brand’s ongoing commitment to offering accessible, new energy vehicle solutions to European drivers.  Similar to the UK market, Geely Auto will offer customers the same 8-year / 200,000 km (125,000 miles) vehicle warranty, reflecting the confidence in the quality of products.

At launch in the UK last October, Geely Auto announced 10 new models over three years and Geely Auto remains committed to introducing advanced vehicles alongside comprehensive services—delivering a high-quality new energy vehicle ownership and user experience.

The news also follows the recent announcement of the creation of Geely Technology Europe, an integration of its engineering centres in Gothenburg and Frankfurt which established a unified R&D hub that positions European innovation at the core of its global vehicle development, further cementing commitment to the European market.

“The expansion into Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Spain and Germany marks an important milestone for Geely Auto’s growth across Europe”, said Michael Yang, General Manager at Geely Auto UK.  “These are highly sophisticated and competitive markets, and we are confident that our new energy vehicles will offer drivers the right balance of technology, efficiency and everyday usability. Our goal is to establish Geely Auto as a trusted and recognisable brand for customers in the UK and across Europe, supported by products designed with real life in mind.”

The expansion forms part of Geely Auto’s long‑term European roadmap. Europe remains a priority region for the brand, supported by established engineering centres in the UK, Germany and Sweden, global design studios and a portfolio of electrified vehicle platforms.
