Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, 02 March 2026: Geely Auto UK has appointed Andrew Stuart as sales director to further strengthen its leadership team as the brand continues its ambitious entry to the UK market, following the launch of the electric Geely EX5 last October and the PHEV Starray EM-i last month.

Andrew brings over 25 years of valuable experience in the automotive industry having worked in sales and planning roles across MG, Hyundai, Nissan and the VW group.  He will be responsible for the overall sales and sales operations in both retail and corporate channels for the Geely Auto brand in the UK.

“With the brand very much at the start of its exciting journey in the UK, now is the right time for me to be joining Geely Auto,” said Andrew Stuart. “It’s had a great start since launching just last October and with 10 product launches over three years, plus the backing of a global conglomerate behind the brand, I am excited for what the future holds.”

“Andrew is a strong addition to our already robust leadership team as we continue our expansion in to the UK market,” added Michael Yang, General Manager at Geely Auto UK.  “We have a target of 20,000 units this year and want to reach 100,000 units by 2030 – Andrew is going to be instrumental in reaching those milestones.”

Geely Auto UK launched last October with the introduction of both the brand and its first product, the Geely EX5, whilst the Super-Hybrid PHEV Starray EM-i debuted at the start of February.
